In the first half of the year, the total output value of the national construction industry was 947.90 billion yuan, which is a year-on-year increase of 10.4%

On July 16, the National Bureau of Statistics announced the national economic performance in the first half of the year. According to preliminary calculations, the gross domestic product in the first half of the year was RMB 418.961, which is a year-on-year increase of 6.8% calculated at comparable prices. Among them, the total output value of the national construction industry in the first half of the year was RMB 947.09 billion, which is an increase of 10.4%. The construction area of the construction industry in the country was 10.47 billion square meters, which is an increase of 7.9%.

From January to June 2018, the national fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) was RMB 297.316 billion, which is a year-on-year increase of 6%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.1 percentage point from January to May. In terms of the chain relative ratio, the fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) increased by 0.48% in June. Among them, private fixed assets investment was RMB 184.539 billion, which was an increase of 8.4%.

From the perspective of industries, the investment in the primary industry was RMB 987.2 billion, which was a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. The growth rate was 1.7 percentage points lower than that in the first five months. The investment in the secondary industry was RMB 1,097.8 billion, up by 3.8%, and the growth rate was 1.3 percentage points. The investment in the tertiary industry was RMB 1,775.6 billion, which was an increase of 6.8%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.9 percentage points.

In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply) increased by 7.3% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 2.1 percentage points from January to May. Among them, water conservancy management industry investment increased by 0.4%, and the growth rate dropped by 3.5 percentage points; public facilities management industry investment increased by 5.8%, the growth rate dropped by 2.8 percentage points; road transportation industry investment increased by 10.9%, the growth rate dropped by 3.9 percentage points; railway transportation Industry investment fell by 10.3%, and the decline narrowed by 1.1 percentage points.

From the perspective of areas, the investment in the eastern region increased by 5.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.2 percentage points from January to May; the investment in the central region increased by 9.1%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.2 percentage points; the investment in the western region increased by 3.4%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.8 percentage points; and the investment in northeast region increased by 6.3% and the growth rate increased by 4.1%.

From January to June 2018, the national real estate development investment was RMB 555.3 billion, which was a nominal year-on-year increase of 9.7%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.5 percentage points from January to May. Among them, the residential investment was RMB 389.90 billion, which was an increase of 13.6%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.6 percentage points. Residential investment accounted for 70.2% of real estate development investment.

From January to June, the construction area of real estate development enterprises was 709.649 million square meters, up by 2.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.5 percentage points higher than that in the first 5 months of the year. Among them, the residential construction area was 487.93 million square meters, which was an increase of 3.2%.

The newly started housing area was 958.17 million square meters, which was an increase of 11.8%, and the growth rate increased by 1 percentage point. Among them, the newly started residential area was 706.11 million square meters, an increase of 15.0%. The completed housing area was 371.31 million square meters, down by 10.6%, and the decrease was 0.5 percentage points. Among them, the completed area of residential buildings was 259.62 million square meters, down by 12.8%.
